We are traveling through a series called Today, Tomorrow, Together and discovering the power of living the life that God has for us as it unfolds. Maximizing each day God gives us adds a depth, richness, and quality to life that many or most desperately desire but rarely find. But once you get a glimpse of it, you are not satisfied with anything less. The study today takes us into a very familiar story (and for us here at The Church @ 434, one that we looked at not too long ago) But it unfolds for us today and gives us some life lessons in how we are to respond to Jesus. We have to learn how to play our part in God’s His-tory.

In our Cancel Culture series we have seen that what people call “cancel culture” has nothing to do with culture at all – instead it is a cult. So as the Cult of Cancel Culture runs amok in our world, how do we as people who want to touch and change the world with the love of Jesus react? In this session, we go back and discover a man how had made so many mistakes that he could have been canceled – but Jesus refused to do it. Instead of canceling him, Jesus gave us a model of how we should respond to others when they have made mistakes, messed up, and managed to damage their lives with the choices they have made. It is time to Cancel the Cancel Culture.

There are days when the best we can do is just HOLD ON – so it is with that in mind that we explore the topics in this series. One of the worst things we face when life is not going the way we hoped it would, is discouragement. If you are not careful, discouragement will tank you and blind your ability to move beyond the moment you are trapped in. This session, entitled Tin of Mints, helps you to see discouragement for what it really is and offers some real world, real life, real ways to deal with it.
