It is Easter. That day is loaded with meaning and possibilities. In one moment history changed. Today we sum up that amazing event with a three letter word – R E D.
There are times we forget or take for granted the power of the Easter moment. Jesus did not do what He did to make us nice, sweet, and safe. Instead – He did what He did to give us an abundant life and a chance to change the world. He made us RED – Redeemed & Extremely Dangerous. Get ready, today is not your usual Easter worship event.

We are in a series where we are talking about the stuff that no one really likes to talk about. However, today is Easter – One of the Easter Elephants is that many of you think you know what we are going to say today….but you don’t….don’t get confused – this is an Easter study…but it is not the study you might have expected…

It is Easter at The Church @ 434. We are thrilled that you are on the adventure with us this morning. It is safe to say that the world we live in can be overwhelming, confusing, and sometimes just plain scary. What if we could know the source of hope, peace, and future? The good news is that we can- it is true – we can know. In this unique blending of all the passages from the gospels that describe that first Easter morning, we will see how God was making sure that we got the complete picture of what was happening – so we can know. And, when we know, then we have something to live for, to love for, and to share with others – We Know…Easter @ 434

Happy Easter! This day is a day where we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. In spite of the best efforts of the culture to cancel Jesus, they did not. Not only did they fail to cancel Him the most amazing thing happened, Jesus accomplished something incredible on that first Easter morning. He canceled the very things that culture fears the most. This morning, we revisit the day that a dead man stopped being dead, and His life changes everything. This is a Cancel Culture Easter celebration at The Church @ 434 – we are so glad you are here and a part of it!
