This week we welcome our special guest, Rick Wheeler, who is filling in for our pastor, who is on the road.
This year we hosted our first Sunset service. To do this we used a brand new outside stage. It was cool and had a misty rain, but it was a great time worshipping the risen Savior.
This is a very special week at The Church @ 434. It is officially an In-Between week. That means that we are in-between celebration worship series and that makes this a week where we have a stand-alone study that bridges the gap. You know being in-between doesn’t have to be scary and this week we explore an incredible piece of Scripture. It is a mixture of a loaded question, a missing mysterious verse, and a wacky answer that all teaches us some things about our own lives. So let’s get ready to have some fun. Pull up a lawn chair and let’s sit down for a few minutes and meet the fool at the pool…
We take a momentary break from our FIRE series to reflect upon the events that have impacted the lives of so many in Florida this week. The arrival of Hurricane Ian. We all experienced the storm in different ways. For some it was tough, for some it was easy, for some it was stressful, and for some it was a welcomed couple of days off. No matter how you experienced it the one thing we have in common is that we went through the storm. So you are indeed a storm survivor. Today we celebrate the Savior that we find in the midst of storms and the Messiah who teaches us in the midst of the storms. This is a celebration of His goodness and a shout out to you – you storm survivor!
Thanksgiving weekend arrives and once again God has given us moments to celebrate Who He is and remember what He has done. When that happens, our hearts can’t help but being joyful and dare we say – “thankful!” Today we want to let you know how thankful we are to God for His love, for the gift He gives us in one another, and how thankful we are for each of you – Happy Thanksgiving
